Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Store Inspection (storeinspection.com). We provide free, web-based tools that help Shopify merchants analyze and improve their store performance, including speed testing, SEO auditing, theme detection, and app impact analysis.

By accessing or using our website and tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Service

Store Inspection offers a suite of free diagnostic tools. As of the current release, we provide the Shopify Speed Test. Our roadmap includes additional tools such as SEO Audit, Theme Detector, App Detector, Image Audit, Theme Health, Theme Size, JavaScript Audit, App Waste Scanner, Checkout Performance, Collection Audit, Product Audit, Store Benchmark, Competitor Compare, Weekly Monitor, and AI Fix Report.

All tools are provided free of charge and require no account registration.

Acceptable Use

When using our tools, you agree that you will:

Only analyze stores that you own, operate, or are authorized to analyze
Not use the tools to violate any applicable law or regulation
Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the operation of our services
Not reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse our tools or their underlying technology
Not use automated means to abuse the free tools beyond reasonable human usage
Not submit unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content

No Warranty

Our tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Audit results are generated automatically based on publicly available data and third-party services (such as Google PageSpeed Insights). We do not warrant that:

The results are error-free, complete, or fully accurate
Any specific performance score, ranking, or recommendation will be achieved
The tools will be available uninterrupted or error-free at all times

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Store Inspection and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your use or inability to use our services
Any decisions you make based on audit results
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
Any other matter relating to our services

The audit reports we generate are informational only and do not constitute professional advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your store based on the results.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and technology that make up the Store Inspection service are owned by Store Inspection or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our tools for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer our service, content, or technology without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Services

Our speed test relies on Google PageSpeed Insights to obtain performance data. Your use of the tools may involve the transmission of store URLs to third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
